Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman is a Partner in the law firm of Nik Saghir & Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Abdul Aziz is an Advocate and Solicitor. He served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines for 10 years. Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr.) Abdul Aziz served Malaysia Airlines from its inception in 1971 as Company Secretary and Director of Legal Affairs. He started by serving the government for 15 years, the first 7 years as an Administrative Officer and for 8 years he was in Judicial and Legal Service of the Federal Government. He served as Magistrate, President Sessions Court, Federal Counsel and Assistant Parliamentary Draftsman. His last government appointment was as Federal Counsel and Legal Officer of the National Operation Council during the Emergency of 1969. He has more than 35 years of experience in managing public and private corporations.

Mr. Tyson was the founder and former president of DesNet, Inc., a US software development and technology based company that developed business applications for various industrial sectors such as Banking and Beverage. Additionally, Mr. Tyson’s credentials comprise of more than 30 years of experience and expertise as an entrepreneurial and results-orientated leader with vast proficiency in ICT strategic planning, project implementation, management and manufacturing systems experience (ERP) within the hi-tech arena.

Moreover, Mr. Tyson was also responsible for spearheading US international technology transfer and commercialization of NASA Lewis Research Center’s inventions and overseas business development relating to R&D collaboration and investment ventures with SME companies. Since 1997, Mr. Tyson has provided invaluable expatriate (Key Post) professional services to domestic and international business conglomerates in Malaysia.
